Made With Monster Love is an independent games studio spawned by Peter Cardwell-Gardner on the southern tip of Africa - making games with more love than you can shake a tentacle at.

Of monster spawning:

Made With Monster Love assimilated itself over several years, after much lurking in the dark recesses of Peter Cardwell-Gardner’s mind. Self taught while working as a technician in the music industry, he was then side tracked by the glamour of advertising. During this time he made several creatively unremarkable games servicing the agenda of soulless corporations. Peter has sinced apologised profusely, and eventually made his escape to start Made With Monster Love and work on his own self-initiated games. One of the first tangible results was Toward the Light, a small horror game for the 2012 7DFPS, which found some cult success.

Enter Cadence:

Peter is currently pouring all his efforts into Cadence - the debut outing for Made With Monster Love. Building on the success of the original Ludum Dare prototype - and with the assistance of game designer Rodain Joubert (Desktop Dungeons) - the company is using its core ethos of a minimalist design to create its unique debut title. What does Made With Monster Love have in store for the future? World Domination? Well for now Peter’s terribly keen to find collaborators and start making more ambitious games. Prepare yourselves for finely crafted 3D monstrosities with shiny graphics and touchy feely themes exploring human emotions. How wonderfully artistic.
